the pats are offering faulk the same deal as his rookie one and he wants more and the pats dont have any breathing room to give him some more

mike cloud is gone as well as are almost all of the fullbacks

total overhaul in the backfield

they will get a rb for the (future and now) in the draft and get a cheap veteran to help pitch in probably will take 2 running backs (one in a later round) and those 3 will be the rbs for 2004

even with mack's injury probalmes and other problems with the texans if he takes a smilar deal i like him as that cheap veteran back..worth a shot

i like Perry or Jones as the 1st back in the draft for the pats (or jackson) i would drool if they traded for rudi johnson or barlow but that probably wont happen either

i wonder where antowain will end up though his agent said there have already been 4 inquiries..too bad philly probably wouldnt have room they could use a grinder like him..maybe the giants?

I am wondering about Dillon to Dallas. If Parcells is such a tough guy, how in the world is he gonna put up with a t*rd like Dillon? i just don't see it ...

If Dillon acts up, Roy Williams can put a nice hit on him during practice to keep Corey in his place.

I don't really think it does anything special for Kevin Faulk. It means that they will be shopping for a back via FA or the draft. The Bengals will gladly give them Corey for one of those draft picks they have:-)

It wouldn't surprise me to see the Patriots letting Kevin Faulk go, resign Antowain Smith at a lower rate, and draft a rookie RB like Greg Jones or Chris Perry (or Stephen Jackson or Kevin Jones if one of the two are available).

I really think Jackson is the best RB in the draft. He gets much less press than his east coast counterparts.

i would bet the house that there is zero chance of antowain becoming a patriot again

he already counts 2 million against the cap (they cut him so it wouldnt be 4.2 million) so even if they get him for 750,000 thats really 2.75

already teams have show interest who will probably each throw a million his way at least
