Well, I couldn't find a link just yet, but the bottom line essentially said, "Charlie Garner to void the final year of his contract and become a free agent in March."

I know I'm happy, since I own both of them in our league.

This is a good way to make rom for Fargas to develop and to make a little cap room to make some moves. This off-season isnt going my way but not to worry somehow i pulled through my first year last year

Charlie Garner voided the final year of his contract and will become a free agent. The Raiders didn't want to keep him anyway. Garner's best days are behind him, but he'll be plenty useful as a third down running back on a contender. He's still one of the best pass catching backs in the league.

Just so I have it right, this is the same team that was in the SB last year? Wow, talk about implosion. I think Garner has some very productive years left in him and that he was not the problem at the rest home. Fix the O-line and the Offense could click again. Looks lile a panic in Oakland, and panic usually equals disaster.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?

.....yeah agreed.......is this the start of a fire sale????lol
He seems to be the PERFECT back for New England. He's a veteran, a solid runner, and is great catching passes out of the backfield.
The question is--he was set to make some $4 million this year, does he still want that much? NE won't pay him that.
