you guessed it...Marc Brunell...this should be interesting cause the chargers could use him.

From Yahoo!

Feb 10 Updating ongoing reports, Jim Trotter, of the San Diego Union-Tribune, reports the San Diego Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars QB Mark Brunell could meet in the next few weeks to discuss whether or not they'd be a good fit for each other. Chargers general manager A.J. Smith said the team is definitely interested in exploring a trade for Brunell.

I'd rather see Brunell go to San Diego than to Washington.

Drew Brees had a rough season this year, but he's still young and showed a lot of potential last season. I'd let Brunell take over for a while and let Brees regain some confidence (or just learn how to play). By doing that, San Diego can afford to trade their #1 draft pick and take someone who can help them right away - not a building project like Eli Manning, who could take a few years. It would make sense for them to take Robert Gallery.

yeah...i think hed be more of a use and hes more of a need in SD...the new draft pick will need help developing and flutie isnt helping..this could be a smart move if they do it cause not only will he get them through a couple years but could give the young QBa chance to develop

I think that is a smart move for SD. Then draft Manning or Rothesburger with the #1 and let him develop over the next two years. Second round pick up a WR to go with Boston. Rebuild the O line through FA and also pick up a few DE pieces and you have a much improved team.

Not to start. Gibbs said he wanted a veteran backup. He's the best on the market.

This I like. If they can get Brunell they could afford to take a defensive player with their pick. Brees was terrible but with a little coaching he could be a servicable QB in a couple years. He was just kinda thrown out there with no experience with a team wasn't that great to begin with. I like this a lot better than in Washington.
