i am not so sure that garner would have a big impact in washington. when i think of backs under gibbs i think of riggins, george 'sniff-sniff' rogers, gerald riggs, etc. heck, i'll even say timmy smith.
earnest byner even had good size to him.
so, if garner goes to washington, its as a complimentary guy.
i would think that staley would be very attractive to washington. if dillon has a good attitude, think he would too.
because they have more needs, i would think that washington would not draft a rookie.
as far as the oakland situation, i guess they will go with a wheatly-fargas combo but that is a team that could make a splash (clarett in the second-third round??) with a rookie.
in our league, we have a rookie draft, and generally the top 3-4 picks have always been RBs. last year was one of the first times that changed with charles rogers going first, o. smith second. larry johnson and tony hollings went late in the first, and i think that lebrandon toefield was the only other back drafted (24 total players).
this year, i think that their will be a lot more rookies out there.
