And if William Green is RB of the year, top offensive player of the year, and fantasy player of the year, how could he not be considered comeback player of the year?
My votes are darkhorses:
MVP:Chad Pennington. Jets have a great season with everyone healthy.
QB:See MVP
RB:LT. Restores the Charges to a playoff caliber team.
WR: Peerless Price. Hey, I did say darkhorse. If he meshes with Vick...
Comeback: Corey Dillon. 1,400 yds and 12 TDs for the Cowboys
Rookie: Kevin Winslow. The Skins will use him well, and he will excel.
I'll do darkhorses, too. Anyone can pick Manning or C-Pepp as top QB.
MVP: Clinton Portis - Shows why he was worth the $$ Denver gives him in a new contract
QB: Trent Green - a solid WR acquisition would give him the extra target he needs to compliment Gonzo and Holmes
RB: Rudi Johnson - Cinci's threats of keeping Dillon are a bluff and Rudi tears onto the RB scene with 1800 rush/15 TD
WR: L. Coles - A veteran QB and a solid coach like Gibbs could make Coles one of the elite WRs
Comeback: Duce Staley - 1200 rush/500 rec/10 tds
Breakout: Tyrone Calico - McCarriens and Bennett are FAs, if both leave it opens the door for a very talented (albeit green) WR.
ROY: Kevin Jones - Fitzgerald gets all the attention at the draft but Jones steals the show during the season.
Fantasy: Portis beats out Holmes and LT2
