ive gone on a baseball tour to the parks and games at them and the nicest is pnc still
the "pure baseball feel" is wrigley
i didnt really like yankee stadium too too much
the suckiest was the twins
I have never been to any besides Turner and the Dome but from what I have seen I agree with Nittany. PNC park is awesome. With the bridge right behind it is really cool.
I would also have to agree that the Dome is the worst. It may be the loudest though. It could be better next year though, they replaced the turf this off season.
As far as the new stadiums go, really they all are nice and comfertable in their own special ways. I've been to Bank One (AZ), Safeco (SEA), PacBell (SF) and Camden Yards (BAL). Each one is definitely an experience unlike the next.
I miss Candlestick. If there was ever a "homefield" advantage...Candlestick had it.
I still haven't been to Fenway yet..so I can't say definitively which park is better..
However it's going to have to be really F'ing special to beat Wrigley Field. Wrigley field is just the epitome of baseball. I've been to two games, one in the outfield bleachers, and one with obstructed viewing of 2nd base. Both of them left me enjoying the park more than the game itself.
I don't think you can truly say that about the new stadiums.
There's been decades where people don't go to see the Cubs to see the Cubs..
but they sure as hell go for Wrigley Field. How many other parks can make that claim? 2? 3?

Only 3 leagues this year. No sense in rooting for everyone in the NFL.
I've been to the Kingdome (SEA), Safeco (SEA), PacBell (SF), 3Com (OAK), Qualcomm (SD), Dodger (LA), Yankee (NYY), and Shea (NYM).
The Kingdome, 3Comm, and Qualcomm weren't that impressive. They were all made for football though, so I wasn't expecting much.
Dodger, Yankee, and Shea were pretty cool just because they're classic parks. Visiting Yankee Stadium was cool because it's a classic.
Safeco and PacBell are pretty cool new parks.
1. Yankee Stadium (design and everything sucks, but it has the "classic aura.")
2. Safeco Field (PacBell might go here, but I have Mariner bias going for me.)
3. PacBell Park (fun park - don't be in the standing room only section in right field with a home run ball coming at you if you don't want to take a pounding, though.)
4. Dodger Stadium (cool.)
5. Shea Stadium (fans hate Mo Vaughn - no bottled beverages due to John Rocker thing.)
HUGE DROPOFF
6. Kingdome
...Toss-up for 3Com and Qualcomm, IMO...
I want to see Wrigley and Fenway...

Having been soured by the Tigers, I haven't been to more than a few parks. Wrigley field is fantastic. You really feel that you are watching baseball like you dad and grand dad might have. I would love to se a game from the new seats atop the Green Monster in Fenway someday. That would be cool.
I think, therefore I am. I think fantasy, therefore I am unreal?
