Bailey to the Lions/Chiefs?

Postby Canacuna » Sun Feb 15, 2004 7:30 pm

From Lions.TheInsiders.com...

The Detroit Lions are in negotiations to trade for four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Champ Bailey, the brother of Detroit linebacker Boss Bailey.

I would include more, but you need to sign up for their insider service to get the article.

From Chiefs.TheInsiders.com

The Kansas City Chiefs could be nearing a deal that would send disgruntled Washington Redskins cornerback Champ Bailey to Kansas City in exchange for the Chiefs 30th pick in April’s NFL draft.

Like the Lions article, you need to be an insider to get the entire article... :,-(

Good move for either team if they land him. Terrible move by the Redskins if they lose him. One of the best cover-corners in the league

Dang, that's really gotten out of hand, LOL.

That's why I was just gonna quit, because once I get going it usually does get out of hand. Oh well...I'm trying to simmer it down now, hopefully it will take.

I know bro, that's cool. Honestly, I don't have anything against those other guys too, but I sure wish I understood why the Gonzo pick pissed em off so much. Actually I think 21Tom is still pissed because I told him that his trading down from the #2 pick was a bad move...the other guys I have no clue. :-?

Yeah the Redskins would be losing a great guy here.

Washington would be receiving Kansas City's #30 pick. They would have the #6 (?) and #30 picks in the first round if this trade were to go down.
