Chiefs/Aww 28
49ers/Shatner 21

A drive killing INT by Eric Warfield as Garcia got crushed in the backfield seals the game.

Very close game Shatner. I was kinda lamenting Holmes broke away on my last drive...was hoping to win it without leaving you anytime on the clock. Didn't want to put the ball back in your hands.

STATS

GREEN
149.6 Rating
119 yards
2 TDS
7comp/10attempts

HOLMES
28 rushes
142 yards
5.0YPC
2 TDs

RECEIVING
Kennison 3 for 46yds 1TD
Morton 2 for 27yds
Gonzalez 2 for 46yds 1 TD

btw I don't know wtf was going on with my kicking game. lol I needed coffee I think..

Cool...first week's complete...since neither Shatner or Awwchrist posted a player of the game, I'm going to give it to Holmes b/c his stats seem to jump out the most...odds are he was the MVP.

WEEK ONE RECAP

We saw some role reversal in week one as Vhawk somehow manages to shut out AF with his weak Vikes D, and Deftdelivery's low-scoring, pound-it-out Ravens managed to put up 38. Vhawk held AF to the lowest point total week 1 while DD's put up the most points. Week one was also a story of the secondary: 3 of the 6 MVP's were DB's...since the other 3 MVP's were running backs, perhaps it would have been wiser for more teams to pound it out with a running attack. A potential rivarly was created with Chaindog vs Hayes and another with Badger vs Terpfan. Good luck to everybody week 2.
