What You've All Been Waiting For... Kordell Stewart News!

Postby Canacuna » Mon Feb 16, 2004 10:44 pm

It's getting slow around here and I'm trying to find some things of interest. Unfortunately, this is the best I can come up with right now... Advanced apologies. :-o

Kordell Stewart - Quarterback - Bears Feb. 16

The Sporting News reports that the Bears are expected to release Kordell Stewart.
Kordell wants to be let go and we're not sure why. He won't find a better backup job or close to the same money anywhere else. He's no longer a starter in the league, but he's fine No. 2 option.

The Michael Vick of 6 years ago. You know, the guys that run around like a chicken and can't throw an accurate pass if their life depended on it.

To add...

A candidate for MVP a few years ago. 8-o

He's fallen faster than Kurt Warner doing something that would make this a funny metaphor, or whatever you might consider this particular sentence to be (haven't taken a "real" English class for a few years).

Slash to be cut??? Say it ain't so.
DaBears totally mis-used his talents. They put him at QB, for Christ sakes! What were they thinking.

Triumph should get a hold of him during his CFL debut - that could be double barrell laughter.

Kornball should be happy he had one big year...most guys don't even get that chance. He just wasn't cut out to be an NFL quarterback IMO. He should have been a kick returner or a WR.
