Kordell Stewart - Quarterback - Bears Feb. 16
The Sporting News reports that the Bears are expected to release Kordell Stewart. Kordell wants to be let go and we're not sure why. He won't find a better backup job or close to the same money anywhere else. He's no longer a starter in the league, but he's fine No. 2 option.
He's fallen faster than Kurt Warner doing something that would make this a funny metaphor, or whatever you might consider this particular sentence to be (haven't taken a "real" English class for a few years).

Triumph should get a hold of him during his CFL debut - that could be double barrell laughter.
Kornball should be happy he had one big year...most guys don't even get that chance. He just wasn't cut out to be an NFL quarterback IMO. He should have been a kick returner or a WR.
