If that's the case, maybe we should get a start in early June, then just plan on suspending the draft while you are gone. I'd hate to wait too late on a slow draft and not finish by the start of the season.

Either that, or he could rank some players he would like drafted...

...Although for two weeks being gone, that could screw up his team. Usually sending in rankings to the commish is only good for weekend vacations and such - i.e. not when those rankings could wind up being three or four picks.

We aren't running on a tight schedule here, and I personally would not want anybody to make my picks but me. If everyone can agree on an earlier start such as the first part of June I don't see why we can handle any hic-ups in the draft such as this. Anyone else have an opinion?

Alright, the NFL draft is in April. I want to start after that. I don't see any reason why we wouldn't be able to finish in two months. That would mean we would need June and July. So even if we start mid-May we could stop for two weeks while he is gone and then restart after he is back as long as it isn't over two weeks. If we would start in the middle of May (like two weeks before June) then that would give us over two months to draft. How does that sound?

Also, what about names? I proposed one and nobody really said anything about it. As soon as we get a name I will PM Arlo and ask for a forum so we can discuss rules and stuff in there.

Zimm already mentioned that name a week ago or so. I'm cool with anything, and that's the best that's been given - so let's just go with that.
