Danny Wuerfel, the winner if the Heisman in 1996, from the University of Florida, says hes done with football. He was great in college, but didnt make a very good pro

I knew who it was - except only because I went to ESPN.com before coming here...

Anyway, I guess he figured he wouldn't have anymore job opportunities now that Steve Spurrier is taking it easy.

Eric Crouch had no business winning the heisman, he only won it because he was a senior and grossman a sophomore.

And if they gave the heisman after bowl games he wouldn't have won it. As usual, when he played a good team (Miami), he got shut down. Meanwhile, Grossman led UF to 55 pts against a top 10 team...

If I were him I would see if I could still earn some money as a third-stringer. Its gotta be the easiest job in the world. You don't have to worry about getting injured, and quarterbacks take it easy in practice anyway.

i thought this was going to be dayne. wow lots of college busts over the years like wuerfull, ki-jana, soon-to-be-crouch and white....

funny, i didn't even think white would try the NFL out. i mean, after winning the heisman, how many people would petition for an extra year in college football? 1, the one who knows it will be his last season playing football.
