Best back for the future?

I'm just trying to get a little debate started here, I was wondering which back would you like to have on your team for the next 7 years.

Wow, pretty surprised at the way-lopsided vote for LT (I voted for him too)... Portis is good, but I think his team might be on the decline once that line gets a little older. LT's team is still building and keeps getting those high draft picks...with some good drafts they will be the team in contention riding the LT train all the way!

It's really hard to choose between LT and Portis. LT is the best RB talent in the league I think, but Portis is on the consistently better team. Better teams usually have more scoring opportunities. If I were an NFL owner, I'd unquestionably take LT to build a team around.

Fantasy I'd take LT over Portis by a hair and wince a bit. Portis is very tempting fruit. If he plays 16 games and keeps up that 5.5 rushing average... Scary scary. OTOH, if LT keeps getting 70+ receptions a year, makes him the better yardage threat and could make him a more consistent player.
