Hey Seahawk fans, any truth to the Alexander trade rumor?

Postby moochman » Sun Feb 22, 2004 12:16 pm

I'm hearing on the local Detroit sports talk radio program that there is talk of trading Shaun Alexander for Champ Bailey. Have you heard anything of this? I think it is just smoke signals from the Skin office to try and prop up Bailey's value. Is there any word on this from Seattle?

I believe there were trade rumours on ole Shaun last year,,,the whole Alexander for Dillon deal....so yes I agree it could be the skins trying to bump for more......I wonder how many Seahawk fans would welcome this trade.

That certainly would be interesting. Would that open the door for Maurice Morris perhaps?

It would almost have to unless they would sign a more experienced back...Ricky Watters is still out there. :-)

I like Maurice morris. He was the starter in fron of SOD at Oregon. He has to have a lot of talent. I wouldn't mind seeing that happen.

Hey the new dilemma in Seattle wouldn't be "Should we franchise Walter Jones again?" it would be "Who do we want to franchise: Walter Jones or Champ?"

You'd do anything to stop thinking about W.J., wouldn't you CC?
