I would love to see Champ Bailey on the corner for Seattle. RB's are an easy fill compared to shutdown corners.
I think they would look to affordably fill in with Cory Dillon. He would look good in a Seahawk uni for a few years before giving way to Maurice Morris.
It would be a huge move to step up the Seahawk Defense.
However after trading Ahman Green(RB) for Fred Vinson(CB) and seeing how well that worked, they might be leary.
Great food for thought.
Dude! ur like totaly gittin screwed on this deal ok first of all u need a rb to win in FF right and like shawn alexander is top 10 running back. champ baley i s a good but in idp its hard 2 git points unless ura LB generally or if u get pts for passes defenced.
ok so unless u have a relly good number2 rb id stay put.

Only 3 leagues this year. No sense in rooting for everyone in the NFL.
This one's all on Holmgren. He's never been sold on Alexander, just like with Ahmaan Green. His ego will ultimately win out, even if this trade doesn't come off. Alexander, just like Portis, will produce wherever he goes. Bailey is an elite corner, though, and they are hard to come by, much more so than RBs.

I think we might be able to put this little rumor to rest soon because it appears that if Washington is going to get any RB, it will be Clinton Portis.

This was excatly what my thoughts were, when I first heard about this. If this trade happens, we will never have a RB around long enough to break Chris Warrens record of 6,706 rushing yards. That's not really a lot. Ahman Green would be close by now (I think). Morris, IMO, is not better than Alexander. Who do we get, FA or do we draft a rookie or take our chances with Morris?
