well if there was any doubt, Owens is officially gone.
Now, who's the front runner to get him??
Maybe Seattle should sign him? they've got lots of money available...
Odds on favorite to get Owens are the Eagles. Owens spent a lot of time talking to McNabb at the Pro Bowl and it seems a good fit. The Eagles have around 20 million in cap room and the need for a top WR. Other choices are the Ravens. They also have the need and the $$ but I'm not sure if he would be a good fit. Head Coach and Team Leader Ray Lewis would not like it too much when Owens looses his temper and starts yelling in the locker room or confronting Kyle Boller b/c he is not getting the ball enough.
Remember Terrell.... your Temper is the one thing you can't get rid of by loosing it.
So what does this mean for Barlows playing time? I would assume that he will be the starter and Hearst will be the backup (if they can restructure his contract). Hopefully no more RBBC.
