Not as good as getting Portis, I would say. Tight ends and blocking backs are a dime a dozen to me - a superstar RB appeals to me more. Plus, they would have to work with three new contracts instead of just one.

The problem is Becht and Jordan AREN'T good blocking TEs and RBs. A good blocking TE and blocking back isn't a dime a dozen to me. Look at the production Eddie George, Corey Dillon and LaDainian Tomlinson had with Lorenzo Neal as their fullback. Some of their best seasons statistically. Becht and Jordan aren't upgrades over what we currently have in WAS. Jordan may fit Gibbs ideal RB (big bruiser), but he isn't worth Champ Bailey.

I think Portis would be a better addition to the Redskins, but I would have a hard time turning down a good defensive lineman like Ellis.

Other than Ellis, that doesn't seem like a very good deal.

Hm... A good defensive player, an average TE, and a below average RB or Clinton Portis...?
