I'm not entirely sure 1) that Portis will go and 2) that Griffin will get all the carries. But if both happen, then I'd rank Griffin in the top 15 or 20.

Considering they are losing the OL Coach, Couple linemen may not be around, and that Griffin isn't no where near Portis in terms of skill. I wouldn't want to own him, i'd let someone else draft him.

I agree, I'd have to see him in some preseason action before I could rank him.....

Griffin's a good runner. No Portis, but he could put up some numbers, especially on turf.

At a minimum he would be a good sleeper just because of the Broncos' ability to turn out great fantasy backs.

because of Denver's past success with runningbacks he could easily be over-pimped and get drafted way too early if the trade were to happen. It's still out for debate whether or not he can take the pounding of a featured back.

I am not certain that Griffin would be the starter. I don't think he has the skills yet to get teh job over Anderson. I think by the endof the season he will be at least splitting carries.

Anderson asked to be released. He might change his mind though if Portis is traded.
