If Griffin is the starter next year (i.e. not displaced by a draft pick), I think he'll put up top-10 numbers.

A 1st Rd pick, and they will have 2 2nd Rd picks to use on a RB... Maurice Clarett??? I have heard his name in a few articles. Rumor has him going in Rd 3 as of right now...

Why wouldn't Denver take a flier on him with their second 2nd Rd pick?

...Because he sucks.

Eh, he has potential, but I wouldn't draft him in the second round, especially when Denver should focus on defense. If they're going to take a RB that early in the draft, it shouldn't be on such a project like Clarett. Someone like Greg Jones, Chris Perry, Michael Turner, etc. would all be better. I'd even take a flier on Julius Jones before picking picking up Clarett.

...But I may be a little blinded by my extreme disliking towards him.
