Any idea what the Pats might be doing?

I've seen mentioned on this board where they might package 21 and 32 to move up to the top 5 (?) and swap with Washington. I've also heard them packaging the two picks to move up and grab either Jackson or Jones.

If they move into the top 5 do you think they would grab one of the big Williams kids to be the big WR they covet and then use a 2nd rounder on say Clarett or Michael Turner? I can't see them moving all the way into the top 5 to draft Jackson or Jones when they could be had in the 10-20 range.

I've read rumors about them liking their picks as they are, too.

When you are the Super Bowl champs, it's better to have a couple late 1st round picks to shore up areas of need... Draft guys that you know can contribute immediately or almost immediately rather than gambling on a superstar that may or may not pan out... They've got a winning formula... Add some depth, and they're pretty damn hard to beat....

love the new av Terp.................btw,,,,we will know what they will do with their picks once we see if they dip into FA won't we,,,,in other words,,,if they sign a "Garner" then they will most likely keep their 2 picks.

They tried to make a big splash in free agency last year and those players got hurt. They win as a team. Despite people talking about them trading up, I say the stay put and I bet one of those RBs slips to them anyway.
