T.O. to the JETS

Feb. 25- Since it apears the the Jets will fail in their bid to land Champ Bailey from the Redskins, they are now poised to go after Terrell Owens (WR) SF since they have close to $10 million in salary cap room to spend on free agents, according to the New York Daily News.


I think that would raise Pennington's stock just a little bit...

The question is...What will it do to T.O.'s value.

I personally think it will go up. You can't double team T.O. when you got Santana on the other side. Plus, with Pennington's arm, I think T.O. would put up sick #'s.

wow...i dont know who penny would throw to more though...this is huge if it happens. all of a sudden NYJ are a BIG passing threat. i dont think TO's value will go up. it may stay the same or go down cause not hes splitting throws with santana, and santana hass already establicshed a relationship with penny, which TO has to do

If T.O. goes to the Jets, and I doubt he will, I'm really not sure how much Santana's value would drop. He wouldn't be the only target anymore and wouldn't get double and triple coverage.

TO will just find something to complain about Herman Edwards, Penny or the NY fans.

The Jets would be a great place for TO (fantasy-wise). Moss' value would drop significantly. He'd probably relegated to #3 fantasy receiver status IMO.

There would be no debate as to which receiver would get the ball more. The Jets wouldn't be dumb enough to pay TO a $15+ million (or whatever the final number is) signing bonus to be the #2 guy.

Of course Penny's value would go way up.

I think the Jets are more likely to go after D. Jackson. They flirted with him last year as a restricted FA.

Penny, T.O, and Santana... Holy Crap! That's a pretty potent passing offense. Sure would be fun to watch.
Pennington's stock rises (although I already had him pretty high)
T.O.'s stock slightly rises (he's remained fairly high but get's a definate bump with a quality QB, but remember all the TD's Streets was able to nab)
Santana's stock slightly dips (too good of a talent to severely downgrade, especially with T.O.'s disruptive history)
