Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Thursday signed wide receiver Sylvester Morris.
Morris, who has not played in the NFL for three years, was chosen by Kansas City in the first round of the 2000 NFL Draft.
The Jackson State product caught 48 passes for 678 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie, but various injuries hindered him over the past few years.
In another move Thursday, Tampa signed defensive tackle Brian Gregory to add depth to the line.
