How about a March Mock Draft?

I'm down for a live draft. We just have to find a time. I don't really see any point in having another 12-team draft. If we were to have one, 8-team would probably be good b/c there hasnt been one yet, and it would be easier to get all the people together.

What prevents you from doing a live draft?

I have high school baseball starting up this week. Also, I have to weightlift for football after games and other nights. I think it'd just be a hassle to find 8 or so guys in totally different situations that could get together for 3 hours to do a MOCK draft. If it was for a league, I'd try to do live, but since it's a mock, I think it'd be best to do message board. Also, that way more people may comment and express their views on picks during the draft.

If everyone can agree to meet and do a live draft, I'd be all for it. There's no way a live draft will take 3 hours to complete. As long as everyone shows and doesn't spend more than 1-2 minutes per pick, it shouldn't take more than 45 minutes. 1 hour tops. You could even set a 45 minute time limit for the draft. Anything not completed can be completed in a slow fashion, and there'd be 2 maybe 3 rounds left.

I'll do it, but I'd prefer if we could wait until the other 2 mocks are over (im in one of them) and I think 18 rounds might be a bit much

That would not be a bad idea. I kinda like it, but I am still up for however it is setup....
