i dont like this...i think its bad for football...He's a great player but no one in football should be paid this much. It's creeping up on baseball. It's bad cause the players will put this in their head when they negotiate, but it's the team's fault it they have their money laying on one guy.
I agree with Nittany. I don't think it helps football that contracts just keep getting bigger. I don't want football to become like baseball. Although you are right, WOW a guy would be lucky to make that in a lifetime!

...At least the NFL has a salary cap that keeps teams from signing too many players to these kinds of contracts.

Which gives me an idea...wouldn't it be nice if ESPN came out with a downloadable bar to put on your PC that is the bottom line? There are plenty of other downloads that go on one or another of the sides of your screen but wouldn't it be nice to be able to watch ESPN and sit on your PC at the same time? It would be for lazy bums like me at least...
Because I just came from work and I am tired/lazy to figure out all the cap room financial crap aspect to all this, does this mean that they can still keep Edge and Harrison as well ???
