4+ million a year for Griffin???? he is good but damnit Snyder show some self control. That seems like too much too. Early days in Free Agency see way too many guys pick up way way more than they are worth.

Wow, that's a lot of money.

The Redskins are winning The March Superbowl--again!!

i was personally hoping that the Skins would sign Kearse and Springs and then they would both get hurt for the season. I like Springs but he has HUGE injury concerns and at times Trufant looked like the teams better corner.

If Springs can return to his old form this might work out well for them...

Trade Bailey for Portis and get Springs to replace him....not bad.

At least they're alot better in madden :p

Springs and Griffin are to great aquistions along with Daniels they have really sured up the D.

Not that I am unhappy with the FA pick ups these are two players with great potenial that are on the upswing of their careers but how do the Skins afford this and stay under the cap? They went on a big spending spree last year to sure up some hole and this year they are once again filling the holes but how do they do this and stay under the cap. They must have some real geniuses working in that front office!!!

I think all the money at the end of the contracts and through signing bonus (so it basically inflated). Watch in a couple season your going to hear " The Redskin have to cut the WHOLE roster due to cap issues. Snyder plan on rebuilding the whole team from scratch in 2 years, after he done paying off the cap penalty"...lol j/k.

I'm sure the conglomerate of corporations that owns the 'Skins can afford all the creative accountants they need....
