thats a good signing as sort of a stop gap player. he's only got 2 or 3 years left though so obviously he sint the long term answer. good signing though for the Raiders. I think it was a mistake for the Pats to let him go unless they got one hell of a back up plan.

Why are you surprised that the Patriots would be careful about how they spend their money? They budget a player a certain amount, and if he won't sign for that, they don't sign him.

DO you honestly believe the Raiders will compete this year?

And, I guarantee you that no New England fans would wish for the Raiders franchise--let alone half of it.

And, yes, there is most certainly a conspiracy for the Patriots. We get all the calls. Right. And the refs made Oakland sign all old players.
