SeattlePI.com wrote:KIRKLAND -- The Seahawks filled their biggest need in free agency today by signing defensive end Grant Wistrom.
Terms of the contract were not immediately available.
Wistrom, 27, played the first six years of his NFL career with the St. Louis Rams and was a starter the past five seasons. He had a career-high 11 sacks in 2000 and has had 90-plus tackles the past three seasons.
While not as good a pass-rusher as Jevon Kearse, who signed Wednesday with the Philadelphia Eagles, Wistrom is better against the run and also does not have the injury history that caused Kearse to miss 14 games the past two seasons.
Wistrom flew to Seattle on Wednesday, the first day of NFL free agency. He was joined by his agent, Tom Condon, who negotiated the deal with Seahawks president Bob Whitsitt.

Just what the doctor ordered for the Hawks the one thing that D was really missing was a pass rush threat and now with Okeafer and Winstom they fianlly have it!!!

Wow, I love Red McCombs.
So far this year he's let Winfield, Wistrom, Springs and Kearse pass him by.
I like the committment to futility Red, oh and by the way I think trading away Randy would really benefit your team.
