Once the NCAA tourney gets here, Im thinking of doing a pool-like thing here in this forum. It will be a little different from the regular pools. Each round starts fresh.. You will pick the winners for each of the round 1 matchups, correct pick is 1 point.
Then after round 1 ill post the round 2 matchups and you pick then winners of each one, correct pick is 2 points. Continues like this increasing 1 point per pick each round until the final, and the highest total score will be the winner. Just a fun game to mess around, everyone is welcome to join.. Posting this now to see if anybody is interested in it before I decide whether to do it or not..

Haha, sorry guys, if there's money on the line looks like I'm out. Apparently it would be unfair :p. Check out the memo I just got from one Jeremy Foley (University of Florida athletic director).

With spring break and the Men's and Women's basketball tournaments starting, I want to make sure you are aware of these rules.

Since you work with student-athletes and are employees of the UAA, the NCAA rules state that it is NOT permissible to:

Provide any information (e.g., reports concerning team morale, game plans, and injuries to team members) to any individual that could assist anyone involved in organized gambling activities.

Place a bet on any intercollegiate or professional athletics contest (this would include participating in "Bracket Pools.")

Accept a bet or bribe or agreeing to through or fix or influence illegally the outcome of any intercollegiate contest.

In other words, it is not permissible for you or any other coach or staff member to fill out a bracket for the NCAA Basketball Tournaments.
