Lions re-sign Drummond

Allen Park, MI (Sports Network) - The Detroit Lions re-signed wide receiver/kick returner Eddie Drummond on Thursday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Drummond will be entering his third season in the league. He was originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Penn State on April 26, 2002.

Last year, he played in six games and returned 12 punts for 151 yards and a touchdown. He also had 21 kickoff returns for 469 yards.

Drummond has returned 61 kickoffs lifetime for 1,508 yards and is one of only 10 players in Lions' history to have more than one punt return for a touchdown. Drummond also had a punt return for a touchdown his rookie season.
