Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) - The Carolina Panthers re-signed veteran tight end Kris Mangum to a four-year, $3.24 million contract Thursday.
Mangum started 11 regular season games for the NFC Champions last season, making 17 receptions for 199 yards. He has spent his entire seven-year career with the Panthers.
Carolina also re-signed offensive lineman Tutan Reyes, who was inactive for all 20 games in the Panthers' march to the Super Bowl. Reyes is expected to compete for playing time at guard after the retirement of Kevin Donnalley.
