I don't know if any of this is true or not, but I was visiting a couple of Eagles message boards, and some members have said the following based on what is being said on Terrell Owens' website...
Apparently before being traded to the Ravens, the 49ers and Eagles had a deal in place that would have sent T.O. to Philadelphia. The Ravens snuck in at the last minute and the 49ers didn't allow the Eagles to send a counteroffer. The Eagles were going to restructure his contract, too - apparently. Terrell Owens isn't pleased and is going to file a grievance.
...Again, I don't know if any of this is true or not, since his website is a little busy right now (I can't get on it). Anyway, even if this is true, I don't see how Terrell Owens could nix a deal since he wasn't a free agent or anything.
Hopefully this will be cleared up in the morning so this topic can either grow, or be locked...
I have also heard speculation that the Ravens are restructuring TO's contract. The want him to be a Raven for the rest of his career. So he may not be so unhappy when all is said and done. That is until the season unfolds and he isn't getting enough looks.

In all fairness if there is any truth to the Eagles having just worked out a new contract with his agent only to find out he'd been traded, that'd be kind of shady.
Also, we've put up with Pinkston and Thrash for the past 3 years. Neither of whom can catch a ball if you dip it in super glue and hit them square in the numbers. Seriously, I think TO is one of the worst sportsman in all of football, but at least he can catch.
seriosuly, san fran apparently agreed to trad eownes to the eagles, they worked up the deal and the eagles got owen sa contract. then they change the parameters of the deal asking for burgess instead, then trade owens to baltimore. That is unethical. If you agreed to do something, you agreed to do it.
Dan Patrick et al are completely wrong about that. They are saying the eagles offer was "inadequate" but it was adequate to get an agreement -- which san fran backed out of whent hey found they could get more.
whatever, the whole thing is a headache at this point.
You poor Iggles fans, I guess you will just have to settle for being a favorite to go to the SB next year. There are loads of talented WRs in this year draft so if they finally realize a need for one it shouldn't be a problem. That guy from LSU would be a nice fit at the end of the first round.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Owens hold out unless his contract is renegotiated. He was probably in line to get $15 mil this year (including signing bonus) as a FA, now he's getting more like $5 mil. If I were his agent, I'd stay far away.
Apparently Owens is pissed off. He wanted to go to Philly, and the contract he talked about them apparently included a signing bonus worth more than $10mil and a $6mil a year salary.
That being said...
This couldn't have happened to a worse individual...
Kinda fitting actually.
This is why you don't spend 5 years screaming at your coaches and pissing off your organization, and then screw up and put your future in their hands.
