Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - The Kansas City Chiefs on Friday agreed to a six-year contract with defensive end Eric Hicks.
As per team policy, financial terms were not disclosed.
Hicks, who has spent each of his first six NFL seasons in Kansas City, recorded a career-high 118 total tackles and had five sacks last year. The Maryland product is sixth in franchise history with 35 1/2 sacks.
Kansas City, which went 13-3 last year before losing in the AFC Divisional Playoffs to the Indianapolis Colts.
