Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers re-signed free agent tight end Rickey Dudley on Friday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
It was the third time in 18 months that the Bucs have inked Dudley, who was released before last season after suffering an ankle injury, only to be re- signed on November 11.
He caught seven passes in 2003 for 42 yards and a touchdown, and has 23 receptions and four touchdowns for Tampa Bay over the past two seasons.
Since breaking into the NFL with Oakland in 1996, the 31-year-old Dudley has posted 218 catches for 2,976 yards and 33 touchdowns over 105 games with the Raiders, Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay.
