Well, now that I've got you that far...Steelers have signed punter Christ Gardocki to a 5-year, $6.5 million contract.

That was cruel of me. Thumbs up to the Steelers for nailing down that elusive long term punter contract.

Heh, wish it were Christ Gardocki. He'd put the ball on the 1 everytime...that's Chris. LOL

You might as well call him Christ of the punters - this guy has never had a punt blocked in his NFL career EVER! The Steelers special teams better keep that record intact.

special teams is crucial. just ask any vikes fan about needing a punter. it jsut seems like they already had a decent punter and they have alot more pressing issues.

aaah so there is sense behind all this. they apparantley wanted a punting change. so now we have an upgraded punter, and didnt lose money except cap penalties next year. im glad to see the didnt keep them both.
