Redskins strike again!

Okay, maybe not a big name but the Skins today have picked up TE Walter Rasby to a 3 year contract. Primarilly a blocking TE, Rasby should help the O-line and rushing game. Maybe that will open the door for the Lions to get a chance to grab Winslow.

That's what sucks most about it. This further reduces the odds of Taylor dropping down to the Lions at #6. Like I don't already hate the Skins.

Exactly...Yankees of football, Rangers of hockey....it doesn't matter how much you spend, it's whether or not you win. The Redskins are spendin' like the Yankees, but they're winning like the Rangers (they're not).

And as someone pointed out (ESPN writer?), if the Redskins don't win in the next two-three years, they're in a lot of trouble with the salary cap. All these contracts are backloaded like crazy.

half of those contracts wont even exist in 3-4 years. i was reading that after the first 2-3 years almost all of the deals they made arent guaranteed anymore.
