the yakees of foootball strike again! :*)

dont they still need ALOT of help across the o-line. Brunell moves like a camel tied to a table and is goona need some protection.

uhh, no they dont and no he doesnt.

the redskins have three very talented lineman in samuels, jansen, and thomas, a promising rookie in dockery, and two decent centers in friedman and the newly acquired raymer. they also have some good depth with dave fiore, kenyatta jones and there are rumors of them signing the versatile eric beverly from the lions. let joe bugel work with these guys and o line is the least of our concerns.

..and mark burnell may not be michael vick, but hes not a statue. i seem to remember him being fairly mobile at least earlier in his career. he may be older now but hes not known for being particularly slow.

Brunell's rushing yards per year since 1995 (excluding last year when he only started 3 games)

95 480
96 396
97 257
98 192
99 208
00 236
01 224
02 207

not bad at all for a qb. in comparison only 5 qbs had over 200 yards rushing last year: culpepper(455), mcnabb(355), garcia(325), vick(255), and plummer(205) EDIT: Kordell Stewart and Quincy Carter also had 200-some yards... but they dont count do they? :-b

The skins do stuff like this every year. Gotta win the division first.

Exactly. The Yankees do this and actually win sometimes. But the 'Skins have never had an offseason like this. I think they might have a realistic shot next season (2005).

And by 2005, you mean the 2005 Super Bowl right? ;-)
