Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - The Oakland Raiders signed three-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman Ron Stone on Monday. Terms of the deal were not released by the team.
Stone started at right guard for the San Francisco 49ers the past two seasons, but has seen action at every offensive line position in his 10-year NFL career.
He has played in two Super Bowls (New York Giants, XXXV; Dallas XXX) and earned three consecutive Pro Bowl selections from 2000-2002.
"Ron adds Pro Bowl caliber experience to our team," Raiders head coach Norv Turner said. "He is a big, physical and versatile player and we're excited to add him to our offensive line."
The 6-foot-5, 325-pound Stone has played in 152 career games with 121 starts for the 49ers, Giants and Cowboys.
