Owings Mills, MD (Sports Network) - The Ravens are keeping kicker Matt Stover in Baltimore with a new five-year contract.

Last season, the 36-year-old Stover ranked third in the league with 134 points, going 33-of-38 on field goal attempts and converting all of his 35 extra point tries.

Stover, who is the only player left who came from Cleveland regime before the 1996 campaign, ranks 17th in NFL history with 1,364 points and fourth in career field goal percentage at 82.3 percent.

5 years? These kickers just can;t get enough. Gary Anderson looks like he plays in the old school days. but hey, if i kicked a ball around for money, I'd do it. Stover is a good kicker, too bad the ravens resigned him :-)
