I think your wrong there, Lewis wouldn't knock some sense into them, he would knock them senseless.

I'm a niner fan so I "am" biased, but I have a little hope. I know that we are unlikely to make the playoffs, but atleast we finally setlled on a RB this year. Though like everyone says are o-line leaves something to be desired. That wont give much time for Barlow or Rattay to make plays. And with our top 2 WR's leaving town, this draft is already well known for being very WR heavy so its likely that we could pick up someone that makes a big impact right away. And yes, our defense is looking better.

Hehe and like the broncos can plug in anyone and make them good at RB, naybe we niners can plug in a QB and *poof* we got a pro bowler. Lol i know im dreaming but Montana -> Young -> Garcia ?-->? Rattay Probably not likely but as a fan you always have to believe i your team and hope for the best, even if you are realistically challenged.

Good point. I think Barlow will be key to their offense, but I think they will get down by too much to pound BArlow enough. Though I agree he is good and young and still she put up decent enough numbers

And I was never a believer in Dorsey form the start

Next year NFL CAL:

Best: SD-If they grab Manning or Ben in the draft, They should find a great QB form the draft FINALLY. Combining LT and the passing game should make for a decent offense, and with some signings they could make their defense a little stronger.

Bad: SF-Salary Cap issues will hurt. Their Defense will be lacking in places and the WRs are going to hurt, but I look for a breakout of Rattay and Barlow rushing, with some plays made by people like plummer, making them a tad bit better than the old geezer, but a little worse than the young bolts.

Worst: OAK-They are just too old. Their DEF is in need of help, and I just cant see them moving much if they dont do much. If they pick up Dillon or grab Ben in the draft, I may change my opinion though

If SD trades Boston and doesnt grab Fitz, or dont take a QB I would move them behind SF, and if OAK gets a QB and Dillon or another good RB, I'd also move them above SD.
