Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Paul Grasmanis inked a three-year contract with the club on Thursday.
The 6-foot-3, 298-pound Grasmanis became an unrestricted free agent earlier this month, but an Achilles injury suffered in Week 2 of the 2003 season may have decreased his market value.
"Paul has been a great contributor to this football team over the past few years and we're glad to have him back under contract," said head coach Andy Reid. "He'll come back strong after his Achilles tendon surgery last year. We look forward to getting him back on the field this year."
Grasmanis has been a part of the defensive line rotation for the past four seasons, notching 110 tackles, 10.5 sacks, 40 hurries, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
