The offensive tackle signed a six-year contract with the Bears on Friday after his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs, declined to match an offer sheet he got from Chicago a week ago.
Tait was designated a transition player by the Chiefs before the March 3 start of free agency. He then got a six-year, $33 million offer from the Bears that reports say includes a $14 million bonus.
