I love how high people are on Vick. It means there's going to be one more valuable player left on the board when I pick in those crucial first 3 rounds. In a 6, 8, 10, or 12 man league, I would not take any QB in the first round. I can understand drafting Culpepper or Manning in the late 2nd round, as you'll get another quick 3rd round pick. Beyond that, I wouldn't consider any QB before the 4th round, even then, I prefer waiting till the 5th. I say, let another owner get stuck starting someone like TJ Duckett because he decided to grab a QB in the first round.
The only way I would even consider it is if he's available in a keeper, you already have your RB's locked up, and the top 5 WR's are not available... But that is not likely... So, no, it's a bad idea...
frankly, I agree with the not taking qb. And furthermore, if I was going to do it anyway (say possibly second round or third round if I were a gambling man) I am not sure vick is the highest rated qb anyway.
Personally, I would rather have manning, culpepper or mcnabb over him. vick is an injury risk and the team is terrible. let someone else make that pick, as he will DEFIINTELY go too high.

Provided that there were 11 Rbs taken prior, I'd have to agree.
I agree, the best RB that you could have at 1.12 would be Taylor or Faulk and I would be surprised if they were there, in my mind the top 9 picks would consist of: (in no particular order)
Priest
Portis
LT
Ahman
Shawn Alexander
Deuce
J-Lew (assuming he gets out of trouble)
Edge
Ricky
so assuming those guys are taken as the top 9 picks that would leave you two picks away and all the top RBs are taken. Between Faulk and Taylor one of them will probably be left when you pick, I would be surprised of Moss isn't taken at 10 or 11. To me it isn't worth taking a risk on a back like Barlow or Rudi when you can have a proven, top 3 guy at his position that will put up points every week. So you could still take Vick at 1.12 and then follow up with whoever is left in Taylor or Faulk.
