agreed. and the cap usefulness of draft picks wasn't as well known as it is today.

Don Banks wrote a good article about this today on cnnsi.com

I'm looking forward to the Dawkins vs Keyshawn moments of the game. Why would any WR want to garauntee they have to face him twice a year? Hopefully he'll get to pull another pile-driver this year }:-)

Boston, a 6th round pick.....amazing

Boston is worth more than that, also jamar fletcher. Although he was a backup in Miami, its only because they had superb corners. You just watch hes a future star.

Sorry lol, i just cant stand people treating jamar like a random, it was a poor deal IMO but he's got alot of talent an potential.

Im also a chargers fan, and my team is screwed. :-o

Galloway was franchise-tagged at the time. Two 1st rd draft pics is standard compensation for accquiring such a player, no?

Correct. That's why players hate being franchised tagged, because their chance of leaving town for a team and a nice shiny long term contract is next to zero.

I, too, am glad this deal is finally done so now we can just rip it and get on with our lack of lives. Like the Robinson signing in Minny, it seems that the Cowboys thought the best way to help thier team was to build on a position of strength. WR were not a problem for Dallas last season. Galloway, Glenn, and Bryant are talented WRs and should have excelled except that Tuna thinks Hambrick and the rest of a stellar Rb corps can carry the load. And when they don't Quincy will save them. Heck, he can't even save his career, how's he going to save the team.
I think Tuna and MeShawn both made mistakes here as the Cowpokes get a highly piad position reciever they didn't need and MeShan goes to a team with a worse passing philosophy and QB than the Bucs. You 2 deserve eachother.
And yes, niether a Tuna, MeShawn, ot Cowboy fan am I. Should be an epic battle between them and the Giants for last place.
