Dyson signs with Chargers

Most rookie WRs don't make much of an impact in their 1st year, so no matter if they draft Fitzgerald or whoever w/ their first pick, it most likely won't make a HUGE difference. This class is very special in that many think a lot of them will be playmakers in their debut, but it is also special in that it is a very deep class and having the 1st pick in the 2nd rd, would guarantee them a quality WR.

If they pick up another avg WR (conway to return to SD?) things would look a lot better just b/c these guys have experience in the NFL and know how the defenses and CBs play.

With all that being said, I still think SD is going to go after Kitna/Couch/Ramsey or someone and then try and pick up Fitz w/ the 1st pick

Dyson can't be a number one guy...he has always been the Fonzie. They need a number 1 guy or the show in San Deigo will lack focus.

There is very little chance of Reggie Williams dropping into the 2nd round. The Chargers are brutal, LT is equal to a much more talented (and not a little bitch) version of Corey Dillon.

The Chargers should be bad for years to come. Dyson won't make much of a difference and a top WR like Fitzgerald or Mike Williams would solve some of their problems. If they take a WR they only have to fix: the O-line, the D-line, the safeties, the linebacking corps (excluding Donnie Edwards), and the QB position. Almost there guys.
