San Diego Eli Manning but I think they will trade down to four
Oakland Robert Gallery Raiders are making a run this year and he will help them the most
Arizona Larry Fitzgerald Denny gets his old ball boy
N.Y. Giants Tommy Harris Coughlin loves defense
Washington Kellen Winslow Joe Gibbs loves offense
Detroit Kenechi Udeze Lions have no pass rush
Cleveland Sean Taylor a safety who can help vs run and pass
Atlanta Roy Williams could be Mike Williams but Roy is faster
Jacksonville Mike Williams a younger and bigger Jimmy Smith
Houston Deangelo Hall could also go Wilfork
Pittsburgh Ben Roethlisberger although Rivers is gaining
N.Y. Jets Stephan Jackson surprise pick; L.Jordan is not answer
Buffalo Philip Rivers I think he will be the best of the three
Chicago Vince Wilfork a little worried about weight
Tampa Bay Dunta Robinson Unlike Bucs to give up passing yards
SF 49ers Chris Gamble still trying to stop STL Sea and now Ari
Cincy Will Smith teams up with Justin Smith for a tough combo
New Orleans Jonathan Vilma as usual Saints have a weak d
Minnesota Ben Troupe Jimmy K. will block Ben will catch
Miami Shawn Andrews priority one is to block for Ricky
New England Randy Starks pairs with Ty Warren
Dallas DJ Williams Dallas is built on speed
Seattle Will Poole helps in nickel right away
Denver Antwan Odom takes over for the loss of Berry
Green Bay Jason Babin will help to spell KGB
St Louis Vernon Carey still working on protecting Bulger/Faulk
Tennessee Daryl Smith provides help at MLB
Philly Kevin Jones Westbrook can't carry the load
Indy Michael Bowlware fast OLB for Dungy
KC Reggie Williams falls because teams will wait on wr
Carolina Lee Evans gives Delhomme three legitimite wr's
New England Jake Grove replacing Woody

Probably too many linebackers in first round and not enough wide receivers. NE I think will wait on running back until round two. I also expect a lot of trading among the top ten teams.

Nice Mock Draft. Here are some of my thoughts.

"N.Y. Jets Stephan Jackson surprise pick; L.Jordan is not answer"

I think this is very unlikely. A little known fact is that the Texans offer the Jets before last years draft their #3 overall to move back to the Jets picks at #17? (around there) and RB Lamont Jordon. The Jets said "No". That tells you how much they value LJ.

"Chicago Vince Wilfork a little worried about weight".

Did you know that Wilfork showed up at the Combine weighing 323 pounds? He dropped a ton of weight in a few months. I don't know if he will keep it off, but he did work hard for the $$.

"Dallas DJ Williams Dallas is built on speed"

I would think that the Cowboys are happy with their LB's. Dat, Coakley, Singelton and the up & coming Brady James! IMO they would spend that pick on another need like CB, RB or OT.

Good job!

All great points. Every year one or two teams make a draft pick that nobody would have predicted. That is part of my thinking about Stephan Jackson. Any ideas.

It seems like there are some pretty wild picks out there but it could prove to be a pretty decent draft. I wouldn't count on the Giants taking Harris or the Redskins taking Winslow however.

The main problem with this mock draft is how it is laid out. It's one big jumble which made it very difficult to read.

No way the Pats and Cowboys don't leave the first round with a RB. And if the Cowboys do find a RB before the draft (Dillon, all but dead) then they will draft a CB or OL help. They don't need a LB. They have a good team and with some key moves they could contend.

I too, would be a bit shocked if the Jets went after a RB, instead of CB in Rd 1. If they are that unsure about the Martin/Jordan combo, then I would believe they'd address that in Rd 2 or 3 or possibly still make an offer to either RFA Dominic Rhodes or Correll Buckhalter (I have not heard yet, if either accepted their tenders from their teams respectively).

However I doubt the NYJ will look to make a strong push at RB.
