Flowery Branch, GA (Sports Network) - The Atlanta Falcons Tuesday signed free agent wide receiver Dez White to a two-year, $2 million contract.
White, who starred at Georgia Tech in Atlanta from 1996-99, caught 49 passes for 583 yards and three touchdowns in 15 games for Chicago last season. White's best season came in 2002 when he set career-highs in receptions (51), yards (656) and touchdowns (four).
The 24-year-old, who has spent his entire four-year career with the Bears, has started 31 of 60 games and has made 155 catches for 1,754 yards and eight touchdowns.
