Niners agree on deal with kicker Peterson

San Francisco, CA (Sports Network) - The San Francisco 49ers Tuesday agreed to terms on a one-year contract with kicker Todd Peterson. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The 34-year-old veteran made 12-of-15 field goal attempts and was a perfect 4-of-4 from 40-49 yards, in eight games with the 49ers last season.

The 10-year veteran, who has spent time with Arizona, Seattle, Kansas City, Pittsburgh and the 49ers, has converted 194-of-249 field goals and 280-of-283 extra points in his career.
