Mar. 24 - Hearst will visit the Broncos to discuss possibly replacing Clinton Portis, reports the Denver Post. "It would be an attractive situation for him," Pat Dye, Hearst's agent, told the Post. "We'll see how the visit goes and take it from there." Hearst previously visited the Lions, where he would be reunited with head coach Steve Mariucci, for whom he played in San Francisco.

Well, his value is next to nothing right now, but signing with Denver would be the best possible fantasy scenario for him, methinks.

Hearst just turned 33 in Jan - ya really think he's gonna be #1 in Denver? I see them getting someone else, probably in the draft - they always seem to be able to find a new 1,000 yd rusher whenever they want one.
