Cafe Mock Rookie Draft finally complete.

Postby TTTBone » Tue Apr 13, 2004 2:52 pm

Thought I'd let everyone know that the 2-round draft is now complete, and results can be viewed here.
There were a few screwy trades, but the draft itself looks to contain mostly pretty well informed picks. Nice job all! ;-D

Mike Williams #1 is kind of a surprise to me...Fitz isn't the top wideout this year? Is he not worth it for San Diego? Just wonderin...

I don't know about that pick, either. If I were in charge of the Chargers and decided to take a WR (which I wouldn't), it wouldn't be Mike Williams.

...But I 'spose the top three WRs are so close in terms of talent, it's hard to go wrong with any of them.

I can't believe no one took J.P. Lossman.

Actually, Roy Williams' stock has shot up so much that many drafts have him going before Fitz. Not so sure about Mike before Fitz, though.

This mock started before any of them had their prodays, therefore there was no talk about Mike possibly being shut out and Roy's stock surging.

Good Point ;-D I was thinking the same thing. While this thing was going on, stocks of certain players were rising and falling as workouts and Pro Days were taking place.

Me either, I considered him at the 25, and I would have taken someone else if I knew I could get him in the second.
