I hear that the Vikes play GB in MN on X-mas too.
Should be some great games.

Naw, I dont like this, The players have lives too. People are usually too busy around Christmas time to watch football, so id imagine that ratings wouldnt be great

actually i think ratings would be pretty darn good..

but I do agree that the players shouldn't be "working" on Christmas. NFLPA needs to step up and defend these guys. And The NFL needs to stop elbowing the NBA to "move over" for Christmas.

NFL games on Christmas would surely kill any chance for the NBA to get good ratings. People would certainly watch in droves.

But, think about the players. Christmas isn't always on Sunday! A team would play Sunday, then play a Tuesday or Wednesday game for Christmas - completely absurd! Talk about a complete physical disadvantage! Players aren't even healed from their licks from with a complete week's rest. At least Thanksgiving games are always on Thursday!

My guess is that they wouldn't play the Sunday before. It would probably be they play on that Tuesday or Wednesday and then play again on Sunday. That would give them at least three days rest.

Overall I don't really like this, I'm with aww. I for one will be with my family on Christmas and I'm sure the football players would want to be also....altho I'm sure the ratings would be good because people want football, I for one would watch...

Turned out to be better than NE and KC...try OAK and KC at Arrowhead.....man TALK ABOUT NICE!!!

What a matchup for CHristmas night....I dont think the NFL really had to worry about Arrowhead being full to 80,000.....its gonna be a wild Christmas in KC man!
