Eagles want Jackson

This would not be good for Jackson's value. I think that's the worst place he could end up with Westbrook and Buckhalter stealing carries.

If this happens, then Kevin Jones is your fantasy rookie RB MVP.

i would have thought runningback wasnt their most pressing of needs. westbrook and bucky showed promise last year.

Agreed, they've already got a couple good RB's, they have other holes they could fill like Center, LB, or another WR to complement Owens. Will be interesting to see how this draft plays out.

Maybe they are obsessed with a "three-headed monster" backfield. Seems stupid to me. They have no need for another back when they have the vacancies that Bagel addressed.

This whole thing sounds ridiculous. WR, CB, LB, and backups for their O-line are the main areas they need to focus on (and a new #3 QB).

Trading one of their proven starting Guards to move up to take a RB, which they have no need of.... no it just doesnt make sense at all.

at this point in the game, you can't trust the words that are coming out of any Team's mouth. it's all just a smokescreen and a "spin" to try to keep other teams on their toes and guessing.

Very true. If this were to happen I dont agree with it, not only would it degrade Jackson's value, but it would also degrade westbrooks and buckhalter's...

Unless they plan on trading either Buckhalter or Westbrook, I'd think the Eagles would do much better with another WR, LB or CB.

Oh well, add another name to the Stephen Jackson sweepstakes.

Philadelphia

I wouldn't be surprised if the Jets took him at #12 either despite their defensive woes. With all this hoopla over him though, it sure looks like he'll go top 15.
